Cheese time 1
Phil had une bonne idée! He thinks we should try different cheeses and see which ones we like best. Fine, good, I say. Today we bought a small slice of tomme de 3 laits to be our first in this cheese trying. It's nutty and sweet and earthy. The three milks in question here are ewe, goat, and cow, so there you go. Good cheese!

NB: Every Wednesday there is a market in the square in front of Saint Alix. This is super close to our house, we just walk up the block and through an alley to get there. I'm on friendly nodding and bonjuring terms with the coffee guy already! The chicken guy won't sell me any bones and the fish guy laughs at me when I forget to bring cash but he waits for me to run and get some. This hummus guy has it for half as much and twice as good as another one that Phil bought by accident. There is a really nice cheese lady here and she always smiles when she sees me and says very slowly "comment allez-vous?" and I say "ca va bien, comment allez-vous?" and she's very nice about it.
